We will work #WithYou to get the financial support you need during this difficult period.

Unfortunately, some of our clients and tenants will see their employment circumstances change due to coronavirus restrictions.
Throughout our 30 years in business Hafan Cymru have established strong connections with statutory, voluntary and 3rd sector networks across Wales and this helps us fully support clients and tenants with financial challenges at this time.

Stable finances are key to sustainable housing; Our staff have been working hard researching the different financial support options available. They are using this knowledge every day to help our clients understand and apply for financial assistance. We are helping with everything from accessing food-banks to assisting with enquiries for housing benefit for tenants who are unable to afford their top-ups from reduced incomes. We are also helping clients understand and complete online applications for financial support/benefits and signposting clients to more in depth financial support (e.g. for debt issues) where required.


It is important that you contact your support worker as soon as possible if you are having any difficulty in paying your rent. We may be able to help you by providing advice and support with your financial issues. Don’t be afraid to do this, our staff will try and reach an agreement with you to clear the account. We can also refer you to independent advice agencies for specialist help. We will also try to make personal contact as often as possible.
